Why Talking About Your Feelings Isn’t Weak.

There’s still this idea out there that talking about your feelings makes you weak. I’ve seen the damage that belief causes. It keeps people stuck, isolated, and ashamed of perfectly normal emotions.

But here’s the truth: vulnerability is strength.

I’ve had clients shake as they tell me something they’ve never said out loud. And I always tell them, That took guts. It’s easy to hide. It’s harder—and braver—to be real.

Especially for men, we’re taught to bottle things up, push through, or just “get on with it.” But that stuff doesn’t disappear. It builds up. And eventually, it leaks out—in anger, anxiety, shutdown, or burnout.

Talking about your feelings isn’t soft. It’s strategic. It’s how you stay connected to yourself and the people you care about. It’s how you start healing.
