Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some straight-up answers to the most common questions men ask about working with me.
1. Is this all online?
Yep, sessions are 100% online. That means you can talk to me from your home, your car, even your lunch break—no commuting, no awkward waiting rooms.
2. What’s your approach like?
Real, respectful, and human. I blend evidence-based methods with straight talk and genuine care. It’s not about “fixing” you—it’s about understanding you.
3. How much do sessions cost?
Each one-hour session is $150. No hidden fees, no surprises. Payment details are confirmed when you book.
4. What kind of stuff do guys come to you for?
Everything from anxiety, burnout, and self-doubt to navigating big life shifts or just feeling stuck. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.
5. Do I have to talk about my childhood?
Not unless it’s relevant and you're comfortable. We work on what matters to you now. No forced soul-diving unless you're ready for it.
6. What if I don’t know what to say?
That’s totally normal. I’m good at guiding the conversation, and we’ll go at your pace. No pressure, no awkward silences.
7. How long are sessions, and how often do we meet?
Sessions are 50 minutes. Most clients start weekly or fortnightly depending on what’s going on, and we reassess as we go.
8. Is what I say confidential?
Absolutely. Everything we talk about stays between us, unless there's a risk of harm to you or someone else. I’ll always be upfront about that.
9. Do you work with teens?
Yes, I work with teenagers as well as men. If you're a parent wondering if therapy could help your teenager, feel free to get in touch.
10. Do you only work with men?
Men’s counselling is my main focus, but I do work with women as well. If you're wondering whether this space is the right fit for you, feel free to reach out and we can have a chat.
11. How do I get started?
Easy— book online, give me call or send me an email. I look forward to working with you.
